8 Golden Rules for Applying Night Cream
The science of skincare has made great strides – products today are more precise and targeted than ever before. Night creams have evolved from heavy, greasy textures to light, quickly absorbed formulas that repair damage, promote cell regeneration, and slow down skin aging. Thanks to advanced technologies, active ingredients penetrate deep into the skin layers, thereby increasing antioxidant and anti-aging efficacy.
Why do we need night cream?
Skin cells regenerate during sleep. Applying a night cream based on intelligent active ingredient delivery systems leads to optimal results.
The 8 Golden Rules
1. Always apply night cream to cleansed, dry skin.
2. Apply the cream one to two hours before going to bed so that it is not rubbed off on the pillow.
3. Make sure your cream contains restorative and regenerating active ingredients – for example, EGF, lycopene, lipoic acid, innovative peptides, vitamins C and E, aromatic fats, plant extracts, hyaluronic acid, and retinol.
4. Choose a cream that is tailored to your skin type and condition. Also consider other factors such as allergies, lifestyle, season, and sun exposure. Professional assessment by a trained esthetician is recommended to achieve optimal results.
5. Apply a thin but sufficient layer that covers the entire face.
6. Massage the cream in with gentle movements from the center of the face outwards.
7. Don't forget your neck – treat it the same way as your face when caring for your skin.
8. Start using night cream early if you want to delay the appearance of signs of aging for as long as possible.
